Growing up immersed in the house music scene, Wavey’s ear for infectious grooves and deep cuts started young. But it was during the quiet chaos of the COVID lockdowns that everything clicked—what began as a hobby evolved into a calling.

Inspired by the soulful depth and vibrant energy of Amapiano and African sounds, DJ Wavey dove headfirst into the craft. Over the last 2–3 years—and especially in the past year of taking things seriously—he’s carved out a unique lane, fusing his roots with modern global rhythms. Whether it’s a chilled vibe or a full dancefloor takeover, Wavey knows how to read a crowd and move it.
