I came up through radio in the early 2000s and have always been drawn to UK garage, even when I wasn’t fully locked into it. After a few years away while family life took over, I came back with a clear focus and haven’t looked back since.

Since then I’ve played for Repertoire, Roll Your Own Records and Todd In The Hole, with sets at Planet Wax, The Run Out and Esquires. I’m also on Twitch most Fridays, playing a mix of sounds but always leaning towards garage.

UK garage is now at the core of everything I do. Since around 2016 it’s been the main sound I buy and play, especially the darker, more stripped-back side. The influence of El-B and the swing in Steve Gurley’s productions are a big part of what keeps me locked into the genre.
