Sangrr

Born in Madrid in 1999, Sangrr is a producer and co-founder of the Mad Mob label, becoming a key figure in the Speed Garage revival in Spain. His debut album, Mad Work Rate, stands as a comprehensive exploration of the genre, featuring 17 tracks that meticulously map its evolution from 1997 to 2007.

Sangrr’s creative process centers on authenticity; he operates out of a studio filled with vintage hardware and period-accurate samplers to capture the raw, gritty character of the late-90s British club scene. By blending classic funk drum breaks with the heavy Reese and Warp basses of the original movement, Sangrr honors the roots of electronic music while bringing that foundational energy into the modern club circuit.
