Majestic

UK GarageHouse

A Subjam original, Kevin Adam Christie, known to most as Majestic, has become one of the UK’s most recognisable voices in dance music. DJ, producer and MC, his rise from North London pirate radio to international festival stages is a proper grassroots success story, built on consistency, charisma and club-focused records that actually connect.

He first picked up the mic at UK garage raves at just 15, cutting his teeth on pirate radio before stepping into the studio. Early releases like “Creeping in the Dark” with Jungle 70 and “Naughty Sesh” with Tigermonkey marked his breakthrough, landing on the UK Singles Chart and cementing him as a serious presence in the UK dance scene.

Remixes became another calling card. His rework of Boney M.’s “Rasputin” turned into a viral phenomenon, climbing to number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and soundtracking a huge wave on TikTok. The official video, featuring Bimini Bon-Boulash, pushed it even further into the mainstream. His take on Whitney Houston’s “Million Dollar Bill” with Beyond Chicago and Alex Mills also earned chart success, proving he could refresh classics without losing their magic.

Majestic’s voice and energy have travelled far beyond garage. His vocals have been sampled on tracks like Skrillex’s “Ruffneck (Full Flex)” and Droideka’s “Get Hyper,” underlining his cross-genre reach. Collaborations with the likes of Dombresky and Martin Ikin show his ability to slot seamlessly into house and tech-house spaces while keeping that unmistakable UK edge.

Outside of standalone singles, he has played a key role as a curator. The Pure House & Garage compilations reflect both his taste and his commitment to the culture, spotlighting the sound’s evolution while keeping one foot firmly in its roots. Commercial partnerships, including the Coors Light campaign featuring “Fresh” with FooR and Dread MC, demonstrate how naturally his sound translates beyond the club.

On stage, Majestic is built for impact. From Ibiza residencies to EDC in Mexico and Las Vegas, he has proven his ability to command crowds on a global scale. Yet despite the chart records and international bookings, he retains the energy of someone who still loves the rave, a quality that has earned him the nickname “The People’s Champion.”

Majestic’s career is not just a run of hits. It is a reflection of longevity, adaptability and a deep understanding of UK dance culture. From pirate radio to viral anthems, he continues to shape the sound of the scene while bringing new audiences into it.
