DJ Pure

Hailing from Croydon and representing South London, DJ Pure’s love for UK Garage began in the early days of the scene, listening to stations such as Upfront FM and Delight FM, while hunting down records at legendary record shops including Big Apple Records, Swag Records and DnR Vinyl.

With over 30 years immersed in UK Garage, DJ Pure brings his experience, passion and ear for the underground to SUBJAM with Genius Sessions.

His radio craft has been developed through years of studying Radio at The BRIT School, alongside valuable broadcasting experience on Groove Nation Radio, where he currently hosts The Pure Genius Show.

DJ Pure will be hosting a bi-weekly two-hour session celebrating UK Garage, 2-Step, Speed Garage, 4x4, Bassline and beyond, expect classic anthems, underground gems, forgotten favourites, new releases and specially curated selections.

From the sounds that defined the culture to the music shaping its future, DJ Pure takes you on a journey through Garage with DJ mixes, themed sessions, features and plenty of knowledge along the way.
