Bear Winder

Born in Spain and bred in South London, Bear is a mixed medley of deep and raw with a flair of bump and soul, inspired by the underground house & garage scene of the UK, enticed by the deeper, subterranean sounds of the Balearic Islands, shaped by summers spent on the White Isle as a kid in the 90s, and many seasons later as an adult. Bear's 18-year DJ career has seen her prominently carve out her unique sound; driving, deep, old skool flavours, with bumpy, soulful highs and beefy basslines. Her sets are a seamless journey through her ever-expanding vinyl and digital collection, blending deep grooves and timeless sounds, always rooted in a love for the rich heritage of house and garage in all its forms. Whether she's digging deep or lifting the energy with vocal-led heaters, her musical fluency allows her to read the room and ride the vibe with effortless precision. A regular fixture across London's club circuit, UK festivals, Ibiza and beyond, Bear's versatility and depth have earned her a trusted spot in the booth, and in the hearts of partygoers wherever she plays.

From years of pirate presenting, to hosting her own weekly residency on Select Radio and broadcasting on Ibiza's number one station, Ibiza Global Radio, Bear has enriched many a frequency with her warm, engaging presenting style and deep knowledge of electronic music, creating a welcoming atmosphere where listeners feel invited to explore and discover alongside her, whilst building a cult following of underground enthusiasts over the years.

From supporting Yung Singh on his Aus/NZ tour, playing in some of Australia's leading venues including Melbourne's infamous Revolvers, backing Mike Dunn, playing in the Defected Basement alongside Sam Divine and frequenting the notorious main room of Pikes Ibiza (Freddie's) over the last few years, Bear has quietly built a respected presence in the underground electronic scene worldwide.

Having released on DVINE Sounds under the Defected roof, as well as independent labels such as Soul Revolution Records and Captum, over the last year she has been collaborating closely with some of the most influential and pioneering producers in the house and garage world, with a run of vinyl and digital releases on the horizon. Founder and curator of OSO:DEN, a wax-focused, community-driven London party celebrating underground culture across the decades, Bear is passionate about contributing to grassroots communities while also honouring the artists and sounds that helped shape it.

By championing both fresh sounds and timeless classics, Bear helps foster a sense of connection and continuity within her field. Her commitment to digging deep across decades ensures dance music remains a dynamic and evolving art form across dancefloors and airwaves worldwide.
